We grouped the 17 Seongsu-dong trade areas of the Seoul Commercial District Analysis Service. The borders may differ a little from how locals see the area, so the analysis screens also list the trade area names.

  • Seongsu Station

    The crossing at Seongsu Station and the shopping streets to its north, where subway foot traffic passes.

  • Yeonmujang-gil & Cafe Street

    The Seongsu cafe street and the Ttukdo Market area, the core lanes of pop-ups, cafes and select shops.

  • Seoul Forest & Atelier-gil

    Atelier-gil east of Seoul Forest and the Seoul Forest Station area, popular with visitors out for a walk.

  • Ttukseom Station

    Around Ttukseom Station on Line 2, mixing commuter traffic with local residents.

  • East Seongsu-2-ga (factory district)

    The eastern area, where large showrooms and pop-ups fill converted factories and warehouses.

Estimated sales

Quarterly estimated sales by business type, gender, age, day of week and time of day. These are estimates based on card payments and other data, not actual sales.

Foot traffic

Street-level foot traffic, workers, residents and subway boardings for each zone.

Stores

Number of stores by business type, openings and closings, franchise share and the area change index.

Rents

Ground-floor rent, whole-building rent and sale asking prices. The figures are entered by the operator and are asking prices. Zones without data show “No data”.

Recommended zones

A score for each zone based on your business type and main customer ages, shown with how it was calculated.
